NEPAL PORTFOLIO
I’ve been fascinated with Mount Everest and Nepal and the Himalayas forever. When I was younger I even toyed with the notion of climbing Everest, until I learned how expensive, in terms of both dollars and time, and dangerous is was. Finally, I set aside the time to trek to Everest Base Camp and during most of March 2018 I did indeed make it to base camp, which is not an obviously easy task to accomplish. In addition to base camp, I also visited Bardia National Park hoping to get photos of wild tigers. I didn’t consider this trip a photo trip. Instead, I thought of this trip as an adventure where I happen to have a camera along to record events. In any case, the scenery was awe-inspiring and the experience was life changing.
