Sea otter relaxing in Kenai Fjords National Park, Seward, Alaska. 

I took a scenic day excursion in Kenai Fjords National Park originating in Seward Alaska.  Kenai Fjords is an absolutely must see attraction where you see all kinds of interesting sea life, some of which passes by too quickly to be photographed.  We came across a number sea otters.  I made this image, first, because the otter struck a great, relaxing, pose, but also because the sun created an absorbing pattern on the water.
