Bald eagle landing on Chilkat River, near Haines Alaska, in the snow.

There are thousands of bald eagles feeding on spawning salmon on the naturally heated portions of the Chilkat River near Haines, Alaska.  Eagles constantly swoop in and out looking for and arguing over the abundant salmon.  Long after it started to snow, I made this overcast image of a bald eagle in a provocative pose as it landed on the shore of the river about to grab a salmon.
