A lone peak on the Holgate Arm with cloud in Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska.

We sailed into the Holgate Arm during a day excursion into Kenai Fjords National Park  just as the sun was burning off the early morning clouds.   The Holgate Arm is a large narrow fjord surrounded by large snow covered peaks- an absolutely striking location.  I made this image as we sailed by one glaciated peak, encircled by a low floating cloud, rising almost vertically out of the shimmering water against a darkening sky.
